Check for Guest Account

  1. Select the User Manager from the System Toolchest menu.



  2. Look for the user account guest. If the account is not in the list, then there is no guest account and you will need to create a guest account.
  3. If the guest account appears in the list, select it and click on the Open button.
  4. Near the middle of the right half of the User Account Information window it will state whether the guest account has a password.
  5. If the guest account does not have a password, this host can be used as a Software Distribution Host.
  6. If it does, click on the Remove it button to remove the password. Note that doing this will allow any user on the network to log into your system as guest.
